This is my first souvenir that I have picked up on my travels. It says Pho Shizzle! which I loved because I have loved the Vietnamese dish called Pho (fuh). It is a delicious broth with noodles and usually beef, however, the chicken Pho is actually my favorite. Below is a picture of Pho. This dish is so popular you can actually buy seasoning packets that you just add water and the noodles and meat to in grocery stores - similar to hamburger helper here. I am also more used to picking up a hot dog at a roadside stand or cart but in Vietnam you can get a bowl of pho on the street! Very cool.

Landing at the Hanoi Airport
We landed at the Hanoi airport and it was quite a relief to finally be here. The flight had three layovers - one in Minneapolis, one in Tokyo, and the final one in Taipei. The total travel time was about 33 hours and I am exhausted. The hustle and bustle of the airport is very similar to that of an American airport, however, the signs and announcements are all in Vietnamese and that is very different. Sleep is all I can think of at this point though so I am off to the hotel to get some shut eye!
